These Inexpensive Noise Canceling Headphones Are Shockingly Good

Update: The SoundCore Life Q20s just got updated to a new model, which is currently on sale for $60 (down from $70) when you clip the $10 coupon.

Can a $45 pair of noise canceling headphones block out the outside world as well as high-end options from the likes of Bose or Sony? Of course not. But I've tried these Anker headphones, and I've tried Bose's high-end QC35s. The Boses sound a little better, and block a little bit more noise, but they're not that much better. Certainly not $300 better.

Noise Cancelation On a Budget

Beyond the noise cancelation though, the Anker SoundCore Life Q20 headphones check all the boxes for solid, affordable Bluetooth headphones: 40 hours of battery life, Bluetooth 5.0 for a stable connection, and an array of four microphones to enable better noise cancelation and crystal clear phone and video calls.

They'll help you get some peace and quiet while you work from home now, and some day hopefully soon, they'll block out airplane and train noise when you're traveling again.
